Atop Documentation Redux And More

In a case of extreme PEBKAC today, I deleted my previous Atop Documentation blog post. So that people don't miss it, I'm reposting the URL.

Andy Gayton just sent me a ton of excellent examples and improvements for the atop guide, which I hope to be integrating with the guide soon.

Miscellania:

1) Twins Effect is a very awesome, very silly kung fu vampire movie.

2) Watch the Damned Spore Demo. http://www.pqhp.com/cmp/gdctv/ It's over an hour long, but if you're interested in simulationist game design (all you virtual world fanboys), then it's *well* worth it. The game has a web site at http://spore.ea.com/ with no release date set, but it looks like it's getting somewhat close.

3) If you know of a decent, cohesive history of Arabia (and perhaps Persia, and maybe even a hint of India) between about 1000-1700, I'd like to know about it. I have been trolling Wikipedia like mad. I've begun constructing a mindmap with some timelines and stuff in it, but better resources are better resources.
